My Story
THE CAREER PATH OF A LIFELONG LEARNER
Lyne began her career in education to make a meaningful difference in students’ lives. Over time, her work evolved as she recognized a deeper truth: when educators thrive, students succeed and entire school communities do too.
Today, her focus is on educator wellness, helping schools build healthier cultures where staff feel supported, engaged, and empowered to teach with purpose.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Lyne began her career in education as a supply teacher with Le Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir, followed by a long-term role as an Educational Assistant in a Life Skills classroom. She later taught Grade 1 with the Grand Erie District School Board.
After completing her Master of Education, Lyne joined the Halton District School Board, where she spent 21 years teaching Grades 1–6 in French Immersion. Her work included inquiry-based learning, outdoor education, and earning specialist qualifications in French as a Second Language and Reading.
Currently, Lyne is a part-time contract teacher with the District School Board of Niagara, where she leads Belonging and Wellness initiatives focused on educator well-being, school culture, and improved student success.
MY MIDLIFE AWAKENING
On her fortieth birthday, Lyne reached a breaking point. Career stagnation, chronic burnout, and a persistent “Is this it?” inner voice forced her to pause and level up.
What began with just 10 minutes of quiet me time became a powerful midlife awakening. Through self-reflection, research, and the wisdom of personal development resources, Lyne uncovered her purpose: to empower women and educators to reconnect with themselves, their work, and their well-being.
Motivated to make a difference she became a certified life coach and women’s circle facilitator, launched her private practice, and created The Mindset Revolution, a thriving community of over 1,400 women growing together in clarity, confidence, and sisterhood.
EDUCATOR WELLNESS CONSULTANT
During COVID, Lyne recognized a critical gap in education: educator wellness. What she heard from teachers mirrored what her coaching clients were experiencing burnout, overwhelm, invisible labour, and deep disconnection. These challenges were not only impacting educators’ mental health, but also costing school boards millions annually through absenteeism, staff turnover, and disrupted student learning.
In response, Lyne became the only educator traveling nationally to deliver educator wellness workshops, keynotes and professional development sessions. She has since worked with thousands of educators across 15 school boards, and is now a best-selling author and award-winning international inspirational speaker.
Today, Lyne partners with school boards to conduct wellness audits that assess the systems, practices, and policies impacting staff well-being. Her work identifies gaps that quietly erode morale and consistency, because when educator wellness is prioritized, schools become healthier, calmer, and more successful learning communities for everyone, especially students.
I am not lucky. You know what I am? I am smart, I am talented, I take advantage of the opportunities that come my way and work really, really hard. Don’t call me lucky.
CALL ME A BADASS.
