Lyne Frank

Ladies, I too was living my life according to outdated social expectations; finding a meaningful career consumed my late 20s and motherhood kicked my ass in my 30s. Along the way I lost track of where I was going and forgot about the goals I had set for myself. Finally, in my 40s I woke up from the crazy social trance that controls us, I beat burnout and started living my best life.

Lyne Frank is a Global Sisterhood women’s circle facilitator, certified Life Coach, and the creator of Ignite in Circle, a dynamic 7-week group-based personal transformation program that trains women to own their feminine power and cultivate self-worth. Lyne curated Get Unstuck a wellness workshop for employees and educators to help them find balance, be happy, and ultimately, achieve what they authentically want in life. Join her and 1200 women globally in Ignite in Community, a women empowerment private Facebook group she created in is the content creator. Her new book Reviving the Educator: Your Transformational Journey To Beat Burnout comes out this winter!

When Lyne turned 40, like many women, she went through a period of Is-this-it-?. At the time, Lyne had been an educator for 15 years with a thriving career and Master’s Degree credentials. She was, and is, also a happy wife and mom to tweens. Lyne was a success by society’s metrics but not her own. Her distressing “Is this it?” inner chatter led her on a quest to fill the void. Lyne refers to the period that unfolded next as the most magical ‘midlife awakening’.

One pivotal aspect of coming home to herself was reconnecting with her divine feminine power. Lyne knows there's a powerful leader in every woman who is desperate to share her unique gifts with the world. Often the innate qualities that are a woman’s superpowers go untapped. It was the case for Lyne, and now, for many of the women she supports.

Her programs give women and educators the time, space, and judgement-free support structure for thoughtful introspection to take place. People uncover their big dreams - what Lyne calls “soul goals” - reconnect to their unique talents, and learn success-proven techniques to take action and be happy again.

Joanne's personal journey with yoga began 17 years ago seeking to maintain a healthy lifestyle. She was drawn to its holistic ability to unite body, mind, and spirit. She quickly discovered "a beautiful feeling of coming home, connecting within". The more she practiced, the better and stronger she felt. She also noticed that her digestion and sleep improved, and was thrilled to find a way to balance hormones naturally. Joanne earned her Yoga Alliance certification in 2014, and now thrives on daily pranayama, incorporating a variety of yoga practices, including Yin, Hatha and Vinyasa Flow. In semi-retirement from a teaching career, Joanne enjoys more time honouring each individual's journey towards well being and optimal health. "The time on my mat is precious. Jillian D’Archie

My spiritual journey began to unfold as my curiosity grew out of the powerful personal observances I was making both on and off my yoga mat. Originally, it was the physicality of yoga that I fell in love with over 15 years ago, but over the years I came to realize that my practice makes me more aware of my thoughts, my desires and my soul seeking inner voice. This practice inspired me to seek more truths within my internal world as well as the world around me. I will forever continue to study yoga and I love teaching meditative Gentle Hatha classes as well as fiery flows that challenge and burn!

I also have a passion for exploring and discussing different social issues and encouraging myself and my community to continue learning and seeking new ways to give back and to see things with an open heart and mind.

After spending many years trying to find balance in my life as a busy mom of two with my career in corporate marketing and communications, I felt unfulfilled and unsettled.

Thirsty to learn more about my yoga practice and dig deeper into self reflection, I knew I wanted more out of life. Pursuing my yoga teacher training changed everything. Inspired by a sense of purpose to connect with others in deeper, more meaningful ways - The Yoga Vine is a true passion project fuelled by love, light and unity. I am happy to extend this passion with Yoga Vine Bliss for my sisters in Ignite in Community.

Rebecca Schmidt

Rebecca Schmidt has been on an unexpected journey that some might call a spiritual awakening. In late 2011, she won a contest for a trip to Costa Rica and upon landing there experienced a sense of being at home that she had not previously felt. Upon returning to Canada she realized that her heart was calling her to go back. She knew that in order to live the healthy and active lifestyle that she envisioned, she would need to boost her health and to change her habits. She had been ill with a chronic illness in her late 20’s and then mistreated her body and soul greatly while she lived it up working in the hospitality scene of downtown Toronto.

Once in her new Costa Rican beach town s#*t got real fast. She felt way out of her comfort zone and on the second day in her new home a 6.6 earthquake caused 6 ft glass panes to crash down in her apartment as she crouched under a countertop watching the fridge bounce up and down off the floor. She was different after that experience and that event shook loose repressed childhood trauma that she had stuffed away. PTSD ensued later to be diagnosed as Complex PTSD. To say she felt lost and confused was an understatement but she knew in her heart that this was what she needed to do.

Rebecca has spent the past 10 years healing herself and has been schooled in emotional and mental health as well as spirituality. She began following Youtube as a means of taking classes, learning and connecting with the outside world. She has honed her skills, learned to trust her super power: intuition and has armed herself with coping tools, exercises and lots of metaphysical things. She has completed several rounds of EMDR and has found her way back to herself, her spiritual connection ,who she really is and she is ready to share what she learned with the world in hopes of inspiring others.

Rebecca has a background in many fields...running a nonprofit organization, sales & marketing, consulting to help others open businesses, tourism, hospitality, art installations, parks & recreation, film sets and more. She has an intuitive tarot card reading business called Trust The Effing Process and she is the co creator of Ignite in Community. Rebecca believes that if we can be brave enough to face and share our truths, to try new things, to ask for and to be willing to receive the necessary support that we can overcome anything.
